When she completed her studies, she returned to Mumbai as wanted to pursue her career in acting. However, it started with modeling, which she kept on doing in her earlier stage of her career.

In her modeling career, she did commercial like Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate with mega star Big B and soon was seen in a remixed music video album in a song called Ghar Jayegi. She was applauded for her performance in the said album. Soon she got the chance to be in a multi-starrer film called Salaam-e-Ishq followed by another film called Golmaal Returns. Soon she got a chance from South Indian film called Jai Veeru Jashnn doing her debut in Kannada film followed by another called Don and even had the movie in Marathi cinema with the film Swapna Waghmari Joshi upcoming film, which is still under production.

Some of her movies include Sun Zarra, Sunday, De Taali, Department, Maximum, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal, Saheb, BiwiAur Gangster Returns with a special appearance and Shandaar, etc. She also got the chance to do a Punjabi film called Young Malang. She also participated in the reality show called Fear Factor: Khatron Ki Khiladi aired at Colors. She also was seen walking a couple of ramps including the Lakme Fashion Week. Her sister called MeenaSukhani is also an actor and was seen in doing a film called BachnaAeHaseeno playing the character of MinisshaLamba.
